Hello
Last updated: 26 October 2026
We want to be clear about what we do with your details. This policy covers this shop and our website, honeyhive.uk.
HoneyHive is a trading name of Honey Hive UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17536040). Our registered office is 1 Hook Cottages, Hook Farm Drive, Bridgnorth, WV16 4RD. We are the controller of the personal data you give us, and you can reach us at hello@honeyhive.uk.
ICO registration number: pending. We are registering with the Information Commissioner's Office and will add our number here as soon as we have it.
Your name, email address and phone number, if you give one.
Your delivery and billing addresses, and the details of what you order.
Your account details, if you create an account.
Anything you send us, such as support emails and reviews.
If you arrived by scanning a jar, the jar's batch code (for example HH-0001).
Basic technical information, such as your device and browser, which the shop needs in order to work.
Card payments are taken by our payment provider, so we don't see or store your full card number.
To take, deliver and support your order. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
To meet our legal and tax duties, including keeping accounting records.
To email you about your order, such as confirmations and delivery updates.
To keep the shop secure and prevent fraud, which is a legitimate interest of ours.
To send you news and offers, only if you have said you'd like them. You can change your mind at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
We never sell your data. We share it only with people who need it to run your order or the shop:
The beekeeper selling the jar you buy. They get your name, your delivery address or collection details, and your order details, so they can get the honey to you. They may use these only for that order.
FlyCommerce, the platform that runs our shop.
Our payment provider, which takes your payment.
Couriers and carriers, who deliver your order.
Microsoft 365, which we use for our email, and Supabase and Vercel, which run our website.
Our professional advisers, and the authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these services may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure the safeguards that UK data protection law requires are in place.
Order and accounting records: 6 years, as tax law requires.
Your account details: until you ask us to delete them, unless we need to keep something for legal reasons.
Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after we last contacted you, whichever comes first.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@honeyhive.uk and we'll help.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, we'd like the chance to put it right first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
This shop uses the cookies it needs to work, for example to remember what's in your basket and to keep you signed in. If we ever add other cookies, we'll ask you first and update this page.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
